Sir Fazle Hasan Abed KCMG is a renowned Bangladeshi social worker and most well-known as the founder and chairman of BRAC, the world’s largest non-governmental organization (NGO). Under his leadership, BRAC was transformed from a local NGO into a global organization working in 10 countries across Asia and Africa and employing over 120,000 individuals.

BRAC supports development interventions that include primary education, essential healthcare, agricultural support, human rights, gender empowerment, legal services, microfinance, and enterprise development.
